The film will focus on the millions of people benefiting from medical-cannabis, the volumes of supporting data, the professionals leading the charge, and why in 2022 medical-cannabis and recreational marijuana could not be farther apart, and why they should be viewed from completely different perspectives. The film will further examine the loss of breakthroughs and scientific advancements brought about be a dysfunctional federal system that prohibits professional research and testing afforded to traditional pharma. The film also brings the misguided federal approach from out of the shadows and showcases how a misguided feud between two federal agency heads led to the prohibitions that have created decades of misconceptions, stifled innovation, limited access, and hurt millions of people. Spotlighting diverse voices and powerful storytelling, this highly anticipated documentary will begin filming in spring 2023.
